A straightforward approach to getting your floats to you
At Handcrafted Floats, we keep things simple, reliable, and honest — the same principles that guide the making of every float. Our shipping process is designed to be clear, efficient, and fair, ensuring your order arrives safely and without fuss.
Dispatch Times
Unless there is a special request from the customer, we aim to pack and send items from stock within 2–3 days of receiving the order. Each float is checked, signed, and carefully prepared before it leaves the workshop.
Delivery Method
All orders are sent via Royal Mail Large Letter 2nd Class, which offers dependable delivery at a sensible cost. Most customers receive their items within 3–5 working days after dispatch, though times may vary slightly depending on Royal Mail’s schedule.
If you need faster delivery or have a special request, simply get in touch before ordering. We’ll always do our best to accommodate.
Packaging
Floats are packed securely using simple, protective materials — usually in purpose made postal boxes internally padded. Packaging is kept minimal but effective, ensuring your float arrives in perfect condition without unnecessary waste. Specials, however, that will not fit into our standard packaging are packed accordingly.
Custom Orders
Made‑to‑order floats or special commissions may require additional time. We’ll always confirm expected dispatch times when you place a custom request.
If Something Goes Wrong
If your order hasn’t arrived within a reasonable timeframe, please contact us so we can look into it promptly.
