An Oak Pistol Grip Topped Hazel Staff.

At the same time as the shaft, the top was formed from factory dried oak, the shaft left to mature in its own time. (sealed, of course). The Hazel shaft then straightened, and again, left for a while before the top attached. Making for a good solid, sturdy, walking and hiking staff; a natural, rustic, with its own unique and one off characteristics.

With a metal stud for long wear; easily replaced should you need to shorten the shank for some reason, however, in this case, at 1mtr to the Paracord grip I suggest this is best its best length. Overall, 1.2mtr (4’); 1.07mtr (42”) to the grip centre and thereabouts to the elbow of a 5’4”/5’8”.
